Sunday Apr 28, 2024
In the fourth part of our enlightening series on becoming an overcomer, we dive deeply into the sacred potency of blessings, exploring their multifaceted nature and their powerful ability to enrich God's people in every aspect of life. Together, we traverse through the rewarding journey of old texts including the Torah and Deuteronomy 28:2, reflecting on how consistency in obedience can amplify blessings in our lives. In the second segment, we examine how blessings bestow freedom from curses, underpinning the powerful axiom that what God has blessed, no man can curse—a truth resonant in Numbers 22:12. As we continue, we delve into the danger of disconnecting from the blessing, painting a clear picture of the spiraling fear—and sometimes, regretful decisions—that often follow suit.Highlighting the necessity of choosing faith over fear, we explore the distinctive Greek and Hebraic perspectives on religious faith, examining the significance of viewing one’s spirit, body and soul as a unified entity. We then discuss aligning with the Hebraic interpretation of scripture, underscoring the holistic salvation brought about by Christ's sacrifice and the importance of obedience to God's Law—the Torah.Centering around the profound blessings promised for the obedient in Deuteronomy 28, we touch on various aspects of life, highlighting the inseparable connection between following the Torah and receiving God's blessing. Our episode concludes with a thoughtful contemplation of the unacknowledged blessings we may already enjoy, while shedding light on the profound theme of repentance. Part 3 of the Overcomer Series: The Blessing
Sunday Apr 21, 2024
Sunday Apr 21, 2024
In the third part of the Overcomer Series, we explore the concept of "The Blessing." We delve into the reality that despite current earthly tribulations or hardship, believers can overcome by embracing the blessing that comes through Christ Jesus. The blessing, as explored in this session, encapsulates the divine empowerment to prosper and the assurance of peace; nothing missing and nothing broken.Contrary to the prosperity gospel, this understanding of blessing is not about obtaining material wealth or property. Instead, it's the privilege of being blessed with the ability to be a blessing to others and the world at large. We discuss the richness of 'The Blessing' as it was intended in Old Testament scriptures, fleshing out the themes of power, reward, replenishment, and obedience. We engage with the essence of how the original blessing given to Adam, the first man, indicated God’s intention for humanity to have dominion and enjoy the world. We explore how obedience leads to us being at the right place to receive the multiplication of blessings and how obedience instigates action that enables a blessed and prosperous life. Finally, we challenge you to reassess your actions in light of these teachings and to consider if you are walking in Christ's blessing. The call is for believers to make actual steps in speaking God's words and exuding Christ’s love, thereby turning hearing to understanding and into action. In conclusion, while blessings are for the obedient, it’s vital to remember that it is not a works-based righteousness. The call to look inward, confess your sins, repent, and embrace Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the first step towards walking in God's blessings.

Sunday Mar 31, 2024
Sunday Mar 31, 2024
In this enlightening episode, we delve deep into Easter Sunday's traditions, historical facts, and biblical references. Through this thoughtful exploration, we hope to challenge conventional perspectives about the festival, its origin, and how it's celebrated in modern times.
While the traditional observance of Easter involves festive family activities, it becomes essential to ask if such practices truly honor the day's purpose—commemorating Christ's sacrifice. The episode unearths the holiday's roots in pagan worship and questions the addition of unscriptural customs to Easter commemorations.
We discuss Lent's initiation by the Roman Catholic Church, sunrise services’ connection to the Babylonian sun god worship, and the potential mistranslation of 'Passover' as 'Easter' in the King James Bible. We also consider the implications of Christ's 40-day post-resurrection stay with His disciples. It's crucial to note that Easter, as we know it today, may not echo the direct teachings of the risen Christ.
Further into the episode, we initiate an intriguing study of the celebration of Jesus' resurrection. Our thorough exploration of Matthew 12 leads us to assert the possibility of Christ's crucifixion on a Thursday. With the theoretical conjecture backed by historical and biblical timelines, this revelation might reshuffle the traditional understanding of Easter.
The episode concludes with a compassionate prayer for reconciliation for those unknowingly practicing Easter or in error. It urges listeners to ponder the theological truths behind the celebrations they partake in. This thought-provoking episode invites you to dig deep into the themes of faith, repentance, and Christ's lordship.

God's Foreknowledge, Predestination, and Man's Responsibility
Sunday Mar 24, 2024
Sunday Mar 24, 2024
In this enlightening series, we delve into part three of our exploration of God's foreknowledge, predestination, and His divine election. Distinguishing between God's permissive grace and irresistible grace, we reflect on the concepts of salvation, electing grace and man's responsibility. The discourse starts by aligning theological interpretations of the scriptures, presenting a perspective of how God views salvation and further dispelling misconceptions about man's role in the process. The discussion leans towards understanding man's duty in response to God's call and accentuates the critical role of divine grace in this process. We touch on the teachings from the Gospel of John and point out how it bifurcates the world into two categories—those in the world and those that the Father has given to Christ. We analyze certain scriptures from Romans, Psalms, and Ezekiel to extrapolate the notion of divine sovereignty in man's salvation and upend misconceptions about meritorious salvation. This thought-provoking conversation addresses the doctrine of election and its relevance to understanding God's salvific intent for humanity. Debunking errant interpretations of scriptures, we underscore that God's election is completely sovereign. This elucidates that Divine grace, both in choice and withholding, is exercise at His discretion. Digressing a bit into the illustration of Paul's conversion, we emphasize that divine intervention is paramount for salvation, not human effort or merit. The talk subsequently pivots to highlight man's role and responsibility in relation to the gospel message by stressing the concept of repentance in Hebrew's word picture, meaning to destroy the old way. Thus, in enlightening our spiritual cognizance of God's predestination, this insightful dialogue underscores the need for man's active engagement through repentance to complete God's salvation plan. Affirming the scriptural position that salvation is unmerited on our part, the teaching calls us to rise and respond to God's divine choice, thereby working out our salvation with intense reverence.

Sunday Mar 17, 2024
Sunday Mar 17, 2024
In today's sermon, we continue with part two of our series titled 'Foreknowledge, Predestination, and Election'. A sequel to our previous discussion, we delve deeper into the divine versus human approach to election, illuminating predestination in God's grand plan of salvation and our role, or lack thereof, in the scheme. We embark on a comprehensive journey through the book of Romans, focusing primarily on chapter 8—a majestic advisory on the process of salvation. A detailed exposition of key terms such as Foreknow, Predestined, Called, Justified, and Glorified connects the dots linking God's foreknowledge to predestination and subsequent calling, justification, and eventual glorification. The concepts of 'grace'—Conditional and Unconditional—are addressed. We discuss their implications on our faith journey, highlighting every believer's reliance on God's grace to walk the path of righteousness. The sermon refrains from siding with one form of grace over the other; rather, it presents biblical insights to enable your understanding. We also explore 'foreknow' and reiterate the understanding that God's foreknowledge stems from his pre-existing love for us. Our exploration of this term seeks to debunk the notion that God chooses us based on our acts of faithfulness; it focuses instead on His divine, uninfluenced love for humankind. We continue towards the concept of predestination, the next phase of God's divine chalk-out for humankind's salvation. The sermon concludes with an emphasis on God’s calling, justification, and glorification, linking them to predestination—a clear indication that God is in total control of your salvation journey. We showcase that from God’s perspective, his loved ones are foreknown, predestined, called, justified, and eventually glorified—an understanding that instills a sense of comfort, blessing, and immense gratitude in every believer's heart.Whether you're a believer in Christ or someone feeling the stirring of faith and spiritual awakening within their heart, this sermon is a compelling exploration of God's grand plan for salvation grounded in the divine truth of Scripture.
